A Request….

Read me a book which tells me the love story of the ocean and the breeze. Which teaches me to keep the freshness alive in our bond. Which fill me with the hopes of your return when you are gone for long. Which tells me that love needs patience.

Read me a book which soothes my burning soul and rejuvenates my psyche. Which reaffirms that at the end it all ends well. Which makes me believe in those happy endings for I haven’t seen any of them.

Read me a book which takes me back to those childhood days, when I used to drink from the sky and eat air. When my lungs were filled with laughter of innocence. A childhood where life was my friend .

Read me a book which engulfs all my sorrows within and gives me wings to sore in the sky of happiness. Which knows the sorcery of turning coal into gold, which knows the spell to turn my tears into smiles.

Read me a book which has no ending , for I have seen too many of them.
Read me a book which tells me how beautiful I am , and the harsh words of those who think I’m ugly are wrong. Which tells me that I am basic and bland , and that’s nothing bad. Which adores me like it’s protagonist.

Read me a book which retells me the right ways to love, to live.
Read me a book while holding my hand,
Read me a book to make me sleep .
